Important Matters

(About Contract)

  • Your contract will be a periodical and continuous one-year contract or longer.
  • The rental fee for your dispenser is 900 JPY per month (exclusive of tax) with a discount possibility at 500 JPY (exclusive of tax) in the case that two or more boxes are delivered in a month.
  • In the case of the cancellation of contact in the middle of a contract period, you will be required to pay 5,000 JPY (exclusive of tax) as the pickup charge of the water dispenser.

(About Delivery)

  • We monthly and regularly deliver water boxes according to the number of your contract.
  • We accept your regular order and additional order of an even number of boxes per shipment.
  • Free nationwide delivery.
    (Shipping charge will cost for deliveries to Hokkaido and Okinawa. Shipment unavailable for some remote islands.)

(About Payment)

  • Currently, only credit card payment is acceptable.
  • The acceptable credit cards are VISA / MASTER / JCB / AMEX / Diners Club.

Terms of Service

Altesse Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Headquarters") manages the system called "Altesse - One Way System" to sell the high quality drinking water with the method of door-to-door delivery.
This agreement shall be applied to the customer that has been entered into a service contract, between the Headquarters or its distributors, of the drinking water delivery service "Altesse - One Way System" (hereinafter referred to as "Service").

Article 1 - Creation of Basic Rules for a Delivery

  1. Customers, at the time of their application of this Service, in accordance with the form predetermined by the Headquarters, shall inform the following items.
    (Hereinafter referred to as "Delivery basic rules" collectively.)
    • (1) Your name, your address, your contact information
    • (2) Specified type and size of Goods and water dispenser
    • (3) Delivery address
    • (4) Number of boxes per delivery
    • (5) Delivery cycle
  2. The Headquarters and its distributors, in accordance with the Delivery basic rules, shall deliver Goods to customers on a regular basis.

Article 2 - Change of Matters to be Notified

  1. When customers wish to change their Delivery basic rules, they can modify through our website, or contact us in accordance with the form predetermined by the Headquarters.

  2. When the notified matters, such as name, address of customers, are changed, customers shall notify Customer Service Centre of the Headquarters and its distributors of its change without delay.
  3. In the case of any lost or delayed delivery of documents or Goods by virtue of the lack of notification prescribed in the preceding paragraph, the Headquarters and its distributors shall assume that they have arrived on time. However, unless there is a compelling reason for the incompletion of notification.

Article 3 - Fee and Payment

  1. Customers shall agree to pay the usage fee mentioned in the attached document to the Headquarters or its distributors.
  2. Customers shall pay the usage fee prescribed in the preceding paragraph, in principle, by credit card settlement (the date of transaction is specified by credit card companies).
  3. If the payment can not be confirmed until the due date, a written reminder might be sent.
  4. If the payment can not be confirmed on a continuing basis, we suspend the delivery service of "Altesse - One Way System".
  5. If payment fails after the due date, a late payment charge with the annual interest 14.6% shall be paid from the date following the due date for the delivered Goods.
  6. When the number of delivered boxes are less than two (3 packs × 2 boxes) in a month, customers shall pay the water dispenser rental fee 900 JPY (exclusive of tax).
  7. If we replace the water dispenser or other parts due to customers' personal preferences, necessary charges and delivery costs predetermined by us shall be required.
  8. If customers refuse to receive the Goods after the shipment due to their personal reasons, customers shall pay 1,000 JPY per delivery (exclusive of tax) as shipping cost and handling charge in addition to the fee of the Goods.

Article 4 - Shipping and Delivery

  1. The Goods shall be delivered regularly in accordance with the Delivery basic rules.
  2. With respect to the occasional order as an exception of the Delivery basic rules, the delivery will be processed on the next working day after closing of the Customer Service Centre. This shall be applied for any other changes or modifications of the Delivery basic rules.
  3. The occasional order prescribed in the preceding paragraph shall be accepted, in accordance with the predetermined form by the Headquarters, by phone or via our website in the above-mentioned Article 2, Paragraph 1.

Article 5 - Compliance Requirements

Upon use of this Service, customers shall comply with the following matters to avoid any failure or water leakage.

  1. Consumption of the Goods within the shelf life.
  2. Maintenance of the water dispenser under its own responsibility following the included manual.
  3. Do not connect the water bottle of other brands to the water dispenser.
  4. Handle the water dispenser and related parts avoiding prohibited acts predetermined by the Headquarters.

Article 6 - Termination of Service and Other Notices

  1. When customers wish to terminate this service, they shall notify Customer Service Centre of the Headquarters or its distributors up to 7 days before the next shipment. As for the termination of service, please contact our Customer Service Centre by phone. We will advise you about the collection of your dispenser.
  2. The dispenser is, unless there is agreement, leased to customers by the Headquarters or its distributors. In the case of termination for periods shorter than one year from beginning of use, customers shall pay 5,000 JPY (exclusive of tax) as a dispenser collection fee.
  3. Regarding the customer's debt to the Headquarters or its distributors occurred during the service period, the customer shall be asked to pay without delay at the time of termination of this agreement, and when there is a residual debt, he/she shall be responsible for performance of obligation.
  4. In any of the following cases, the Headquarters or its distributor, without any notice or demand, shall be able to terminate this Service and the contract between its customer.
    • (1) False declarations of name, address, etc. upon application, which affect the evaluation of credibility of a customer.
    • (2) Delay in payment predetermined in Article 3.
    • (3) Deterioration in credibility of a customer.
    • (4) Defamation and infringement of the right of the Headquarters and its distributors.
    • (5) Any nuisance for other customers.
    • (6) Disobedience to obligations determined under this agreement, which causes a significant collapse in the credibility.
    • (7) Due to circumstances to be complied with this agreement, improperness for the delivery determined by the Headquarters or its distributors.
    • (8) Suspension of the Service for four months without notice to the Headquarters or its distributors. In this case, Article 6, Paragraph 2 shall be applied.
  5. In the case of the preceding paragraph, the customer loses all the benefits based on this agreement and shall be obliged to pay the full amount of debt.
  6. When the service contract is terminated, regardless of the reasons of termination, customers shall return the water dispenser leased by us, in accordance with the provisions of our company. If customers do not accept its return within 30 days after the return request by us, customers shall pay 30,000 JPY (exclusive of tax) per dispenser.

Article 7 - Disclaimers

  1. The Headquarters and its distributors shall exclude liability for performances of obligation of the Service and indemnifications for damage for any of the following reasons.
    • (1) Suffering damage from abnormal natural disasters
    • (2) Revision or repeal of laws and regulations or administrative guidance
    • (3) Material ground making it difficult to manage the Service
    • (4) Other same reasons in accordance with the preceding paragraphs
  2. If the circumstances referred to the preceding paragraphs are not expected to be resolved, the Headquarters and its distributors shall be able to terminate the Service provided to customers towards the future.

Article 8 - Indemnification for Damage

  1. The Headquarters and its distributors shall exclude liability for any obligation for damages caused by a use of customers against the compliance requirements prescribed in Article 5.
  2. If customers use the dispenser against the compliance requirements prescribed in Article 5 and lead to breakage, loss or failure, customers shall pay 30,000 JPY (exclusive of tax) as the cost of dispenser.

Article 9 - Handling of Personal Information

  1. The Headquarters and its distributors may obtain and use the personal information (in the case of corporate customers, information of individuals who belong to that organization) for the following purposes.
    • (1) Delivery of the Goods and service, correspondence to inquiries about the billing and settlement, emergency contact, or maintenance and management of the contract by the Headquarters and its distributors.
    • (2) Announcement of the products, services, various campaigns offered by the Headquarters and its distributors.
    • (3) Marketing and sales promotion of products offered by the Headquarters and its distributors.
    • (4) Correspondence to inquiries about products and services offered by the Headquarters and its distributors.
    • (5) Correspondence to inquiries about the personal information.
  2. The Headquarters and its distributors do not provide any personal information to third parties.
    However, to deliver our products and services (shipping purposes), we might provide it to external companies to outsource logistical operations.
  3. Please contact the Altesse Customer Service Centre (TEL 0120-377-388) in the case of any request of disclosure, correction or addition of personal information by identical persons.
  4. If you do not allow us to obtain your personal information in the application form, we might not be able to provide our products and services.
    Also, you might not be able to receive privileges to participate in various campaigns and so on.
  5. In order to aggregate the access information of the Headquarters' website, when you visit the Headquarters' web pages, the site collects access logs using Cookies and Web Beacons.
    And in the future, the site might use other specific Internet technologies. However, it does not collect information which can clarify or identify a specific individual.
    (The Cookie is a technology which records the date and time of your visit, the information you browse, the number of visits and the last date of your visit.)
    (The Web Beacons is a very small image for gathering information embedded in a web page. It may be used to collect customer behaviours when accessed.)
  6. In addition to the restrictions of this section, the Headquarters and its distributors properly manage the customer's personal information in accordance with laws, regulations and other guidelines.

Article 10 - Change and Approval of Terms and Conditions

  1. The Headquarters, at any time, shall be able to change this agreement.
  2. When the customer use the Service after a notification of changes in this agreement has been sent to the customer, the customer shall be deemed to have approved the changes or new terms and conditions.
